Through our Renewal Cares initiative, we’re proud to give back to the communities where we live, work, and raise our families. In partnership with our retail network, we’ve teamed up with more than 100 local charities across the U.S., providing replacement windows and doors to individuals, families, and organizations in need.
We’re especially proud to support the American Cancer Society (ACS) in their fight to improve the lives of those impacted by cancer and working to advance critical cancer research. Since launching our United Against Cancer campaign in 2018, we’ve contributed nearly 4.5 million in support of advocacy, research, and patient care. We’ve also replaced windows in multiple ACS Hope Lodges, which provide free lodging for patients and their families undergoing treatment.
Every window and door projects and every dollar raised is part of a larger story of transformation. We’re honored to contribute, believing that even small actions can create meaningful change.

It was the first ever Earth Day. Now, nearly a half century later, Earth Day is the largest secular observance in the world, with more than a billion people taking part in activities and celebrations every year.

02/05/2017Representatives from across the Renewal by Andersen North American retailer network partnered with Cheeriodicals to assemble and deliver 248 “big green boxes of cheer” and 2 children’s wagons to patients at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) on January 29, 2017. Approximately 100 employees, who were in town for the company’s annual retailer summit meeting, volunteered their time to assemble the Cheeriodicals gift boxes and wagons, which were filled with magazines and activity books, room decorations, puzzles, stickers, and games for the children to enjoy.

02/12/2017Each year, Renewal by Andersen awards a Community Leadership Award to a location or group of locations that contributed significant time, talent and resources to people in need in their communities.This year, six locations that worked in collaboration were recognized for their work with K9s for Warriors, a nationwide organization dedicated to providing service canines to veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military trauma as a result of military service post-9/11.
