Above: Before Mark (pictured above) was a Value Stream Supervisor at Andersen Corporation, our parent company, he served in the United States Army in the 3rd U.S. Infantry at Fort Myer, VA. The 3rd U.S. Infantry, otherwise known as “The Old Guard”, is the Army’s official ceremonial unit and escort to the president, and provides security for Washington, D.C, in time of national emergency. During his service, Mark was a guard to former Secretary of Defense, Casper Weinberger, at the Pentagon and was also a chauffeur for the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.
